Project description

The vessel is a mixed use space in the NESB which acts as the central node of the building and is the focal point , pivoting around other spaces like study areas, cafeteria, auditorium, art shop, bar etc. This central hub possesses the character to be adaptive and transformative. My learnings for the interior discipline have revolved around the concepts of circular architecture and dwells into my understanding of interiors as a temporary entity through which time and we pass by. In this project, I want to portray the malleable nature of the interiors through materials , spaces and functions and create an experience which can vary via time.

Circularity - Transformable Spaces

The vessel collaborates with ECA Bookit and Estates, employing a modular panel system to showcase students' creations. These panels are adaptable, allowing students to adjust their arrangement and dimensions. Crafted from recyclable CLT, the certified material, the panels prioritize eco-friendliness. Their disassembly-oriented design enhances circularity, prolonging the built environment's lifespan.
