Introduction

I redesigned the middle area of the J floor and the middle and right areas of the K floor of the NESB as exhibition spaces. Creating a space where students present themselves and can generate emotions and experiences. Students use the exhibition to showcase their work, and expertise, express their ideas and connect with the audience, shape their image and demonstrate their abilities. The exhibition interacts with the viewer through different forms, valuing the human experience and focusing on the relationship between people and space, exploring the emotions and feelings brought about by changes in space through different materials, colours, lighting and sound. The exhibition is used as a platform to encourage students to express themselves, break down social barriers, promote a focus on student development and help students make effective connections with society.

Manifesto

Interior design can act as a mode of self presentation : Interior Designers can shape the perception of others and enhance the individual’s sense of self. This project provides spaces for students to present themselves and for me to explore the relationship between people and space, and the experiences people can have in different interior spaces. I want design to be human-centred, focusing on the sense of human experience and the sustainability of the space, making interior design more valuable and meaningful.
