My projects this year have been focused on themes surrounding the environment and communicating bigger societal issues in a fun and interesting way to understand. For example, this semester's work has explored Mudlarking, an activity which is central to my children's book. I enjoy being playful in my work though exaggerating scale and perspective. I further this playfulness by layering lots of textures using a wide range of media (printmaking, collage and painting).
