I make scultures and mixed media paintings by exploring transcendental and sacred themes, such as death, the universe, creation, and extinction. My creative process often begins with imagining intangible concepts that cannot be seen or experienced in the physical world, but can be understood through each person's inner intuition. I strive to explore cosmic space and time and sublime. I enjoy utilizing dark colors and natural elements such as shape of rock, and salt and ink to make a strong visual impact.
I start my day by looking for recyclable items. Collecting them and exploring new feelings and directions through using cheap materials. I select objects and materials based on a deep-seated feeling of their inherent value. In this way, my artwork becomes a reflection of my unconscious, a tangible expression of my innermost thoughts and feelings.
The shapes and textures of stones, the timelessness of time and the sense of infinity they convey stand out in my work. In order to infuse a lasting sense of mystery and depth into my work, I actively utilizes the characteristics of stone such as permanence, depth, and sublimity. One of my enduring interests is exploring the boundary between reality and fantasy. Because of this, I enjoy creating visual confusion by creating an inappropriate combination of artificial media and natural objects that may seem somewhat unrealistic.
My art is an expression of my deepest beliefs and feelings, and an exploration of an intangible and limitless aspect of life that goes beyond our immediate sensory experience. Through my work, I hope to stimulate thoughts and emotions and give a glimpse of the transcendent realm that exists within all of us.
Life and existence move, bump into each other, communicate, connect, and fuse. A process like this draws endlessly and draws an infinite map. That is what I think the universe looks like, and it is expressed through my deepest beliefs and feelings.
Each dot is a part of the universe and is also a cell. These textures, accidentally created as ink and salt dry over time, operate and communicate on their own.
Life and death, existence and non-existence, black and white, light and darkness.
Everything around us exists with opposite side and communicates with each other. I want to reinterpret everything that communicates through painting work as my own symbol, and talk about existence and connection through this.
