"Other Tails and similar works, seeks to reverse engineer object-hood by taking the artwork through an alchemical process, transmuting painting corporeally into object. This process is stimulated through the contemporary archeological practice of collecting found objects and through the ruminative performance of sewing. In its final form the work emerges as tapestry limp but never lifeless."
