Synopsis

This documentary tells the story of relocating the grave of my uncle Huimin's mother from his perspective. Documenting Huimin's different reactions during the three stages of relocating the grave. At the outset, as the eldest son, Huimin displayed reluctance when faced with the task, attempting to delay the process. Eventually, due to the demands of development, he agreed to the relocation. During the process of moving the grave, Huimin once again revealed his feelings of helplessness and desolation. When everything settled, he revisited his mother's old grave and looked at the damaged graves in the distance, which evoked a mix of emotions. The old houses in his hometown had been torn down and replaced with towering high-rise buildings.
