Synopsis

When Cumbia is On takes us on a journey that narrates the encounter of Peruvian Cumbia in a new city away from its Latin American roots. Like Sandino, Chile and Franco, the psychedelic Amazonian sound has arrived in Scotland, and it is experienced in different forms by these South American musicians who might have found in it a way to connect with a sense of home.
