Flamingo represents freedom, energy and bold, which is quite similar to baroque style.
In Roman myths, every planet is closedly related to a certain god. And every planet has one or two kinds of guardian flower. The illustrator created different figures of flamingos based on the features of different gods of the planets in solar system in Roman myths. And the plants is inspired from the guardian flowers.
Some moving greeting cards with special structure were made. It is because the illustrator thought that power and energy can be expressed by movement.
