Bio

Ann Pearce (b.1996, Glasgow, UK) is an artist who considers their practice a dialogue between expanded forms of writing and painting. Through process-based approaches of appropriation, improvisation & diffusion, they develop personal symbologies to think through the affective and resonant capacities of artworks. Much of their practice is informed by performative notions of image making; attending to a poetics of withdrawal, invocation and becoming.
