I became a designer because I enjoy solving problems, whether that involves fixing broken items, improving functionality, adding aesthetics, or increasing ease of use. I believe designers need to be creative, ingenious, and bring new ideas to the world. Making is always fun, but making with the purpose to better lives or inspire others is the forefront of my philosophy on design.

Breathe is a family of wearable designs created to support better breathing practices.

These designs target the issue of stress and anxiety through breathing, being a scientifically proven method to aid those afflicted. Through asymmetric breathing (using an exhale twice as long as the inhale) we can stimulate our parasympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for telling our bodies we are calm.

The design family provides individuals with a physical reminder to optimise their breathing. It then supports their breathing through built in self-controlled interactions. These designs allow individuals to calm themselves and re-focus.
